The novel vividly depicts the different prospects of love and passion from different species to a human, along with Bella's sacrificial actions to express her love throughout the Twilight series emphasising the extreme romantic genre of the saga. Respectively, the only complementary feature of the series is the brilliant expressions of romance referenced frequently as the key component in the twisted passions of the repulsive plots in the novel. With controversial love concepts such as the protagonist Bella falling in love with werewolf later confirmed shapeshifter Jacob Black while still engaged with her fiance Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black making various shameless declarations of love towards a married and pregnant woman, all the while with his desire to kill her child, and her husband, Edward Cullen, with abilities of mind reading, defending Jacob Black all the while cognizant of his erotic imaginations of his wife and his twisted love towards her, he even gave consent after desperate attempts to convince Bella on the removal of her unborn human-vampire hybrid child of him making a baby with his wife. And outrageously the entire Cullen family accepting Jocob's intentions and disputable choices of love. Then there is the scandalous first sight love of Jacob Black to Bella Swan’s newborn daughter immediately after her birth, explained as imprinting, a natural werewolf trait, involuntary attraction to incidental instances. In which all those concerned are content with the nickname of the newborn baby Renesmee that Jacob gave, as Nessie, after the Loch Ness monster. It is important to note that Jacob Black was willing to kill the daughter of his previous love to compensate for his pain of the supposed death of Bella, in which Bella had given her life to accomplish, should he not have imprinted, he would have made the death of his reverent love be in vain. This point would not have been a valid point of consideration, and his actions of murder would probably be that understanding and accordance with the Cullen family. This gives us a view of the twisted mindset of the author writing this story.
Furthermore, the romance between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen should not at all be deemed 「healthy」 by public opinion, from Edward Cullen exploiting his supernatural strengths and speed to limit the protagonist’s activity limit, and is willing to force her to begin a dispute with her only family member, her father, in the course of planning to send her across the world in an escape attempt due to the unwanted interest of a bloodthirsty vampire to Bella. To the blatant ignorance relating to the intentions and wishes of the Bella Swan with self-righteous justice for many times during the course of the entire saga, including the refusal of her association with various people, and visiting her best friend Jacob Black while both are unaware of their developing love for each other. As well as forcefully making her go to a prom dance, while dauntlessly aware of her general clumsiness.
After the series, the reader should consider the modern lifestyle and its effects on our psychological perceptions. It takes great alterations in human thought patterns for a series presented in such a manner to possess the ability to reach a popularity of this level. We should reflect on our own concepts of love and the behaviours of others to determine whether to avoid them to prevent mingling with such twisted mindsets. We should understand that we might require the need to reflect on ourselves and our desires in the future to maintain our purity of heart.
I am overly disappointed by such a highly acclaimed series, due to its twisted and unjust plots, with controversial protagonists, and the flagrant types of romance flaring throughout the entire series.
